26th Sunday in Ordinary Time
We are urged to be mindful of the plight of the poor, the lonely, the sick, and those trapped by addiction or anxiety.
I am delighted to welcome you to the launch of the new Croom Parish Website. In this regard I trust that this website will be of assistance to the people of Croom and Banogue.
Croom and Banogue were one parish up until 1861 when Banogue became a seperate Parish. This continued up until 2003 when the Parish was served by two priests from Croom but it still maintains its own entity and independence.
We are urged to be mindful of the plight of the poor, the lonely, the sick, and those trapped by addiction or anxiety.
We are invited to consider our relationship with wealth and possessions, ensuring that our choices reflect our commitment to God and service to others.
The Cross of Christ symbolizes hope and salvation. Time to reflect on the significance of the Cross and to honor the victory Jesus won for us through His death and resurrection.
The original cross was discovered in the year 320 and is a great symbol of our faith and Christianity.
